Enjoy some tiny pics from a day in my life 2 days after Shaun and I got married!
10:30 am: Been awake for about 15 minutes, just remembered I was going to do this today.sitting at my computer in my pajamas.11 am: dressed but my hair isn’t dressed. See how I cleverly show off my wedding band?Then I sat down to write some letters.11:30 am: three letters written and laid out with the stuff I need to mail to three people. (I recognize the bottom right one was the tree skirt I made and sent to ang!)11:43 am: I had a clementine and started making myself some… um… brunch.11:51 am: Eating fresh caught fried fish and baked red potato with feta on it while I wait for my stories to start. (This fish was caught by Blake, he gave it to us when we got married!)12 pm: This is the face I make when they test the tornado sirens. We live a block or so away from them. It reminds me I need to take my birth control. I forgot to take a picture of that.12:30 pm: I watched All My Children (Really bad rabbit ear reception on CRT TV! Even at the time people would comment like, “Why are you living this way?” We were poor?)I checked my 43Things page. (aww 43 things)1 pm: I added the goal “Change showerhead” to my 43things and then went to see how easy it would be to get the crummy low pressure one off. It was pretty hard, but I managed, and put the better head on. I think it will much better. (It was much better!)I cut my finger on the plastic packaging of the new shower head. Ow.1:51 pm: I was really bored with the internet.1:54 pm: I started doing yoga. (In trousers???)I did it for a little over 10 minutes. Um, yeah, that’s real determination and sticktoitiveness there! (Arkham Horror on the table!)2:05 pm: I sat down to read.2:43 pm: I was getting pretty sleepy, so put my book down.2:51 pm: I decided to activate the neopets account I started months and months ago.
(I just checked in, I did NOT play Neopets enough to even level her up!)
😂3:55 pm: This is my face when I realized I had been playing neopets games for an hour!3:56 pm: I checked my inbox. Some bookcrosser released 37 books! I promptly deleted the notifications.4pm The mail came. It was just a water bill. sigh4:16 pm: my husband got home from teaching maths to 9th graders. Yay! (This was his first year teaching, when he was at Will Rogers HS!)4:39 pm: I worked on getting packages ready to mail.4:51 p,: (I wasn’t paying attention the clock at all or I would have realized we would be too late to actually mail them. Drr.) Packages ready, Shaun makes out bills to mail.5:01 pm: We set out walking for the post office, which has been closed for one minute. Heh.5:11 pm: It takes ten minutes to get there. That’s useful to know! Anyway, Shaun bought stamps so the trip wasn’t completely wasted.5:19 pm: we were walking to Arby’s for eats when my mom stopped us and we put our packages in the back of her van. (I love this, I miss walking around our small town and running into my mom.)5:30 pm: Mom joined us at Arby’s where we had 4 sides and an iced tea. (Incredible what counts as dinner when you are 21 years old.)6:30 pm: my mom took us home and hung out for a while and looked at our wedding pictures. This is her on her way out the door.7:15 pm: Shaun checked “marry my girlfriend” off of his 43things account. He said it was worth doing! 😀 (He looks like he going to sneeze?)7:51 pm: I watched Shaun play Final Fantasy X8:07 pm: Then I went to find something to drink.I had another clementine or two.9:11 pm: we turned the bathroom heater on.9:31 pm: Shaun is done with his shower and has started shaving.9:35 pm: I started my shower. Eeek!9:39 pm: I didn’t realize what a quick showerer I am. I mean, I knew I was quicker than most, but wow! Anyway. Lotioned with some xmas gifts. Mmm. When I walked out of the bathroom Shaun said I smelled good and I was like 6 feet away from him! (These lotions were a gift from my in-laws dogs and cat haha)9:40 pm: dressed for bed.9:42 pm: drying hair.9:43 pm: brushed it.9:46 pm: brushing teeth.9:50 pm: listerine!9:55 pm: we got in to bed.for reading10:23 pm: laid my head down on the pillow. I don’t think I fell asleep until after 11pm though.
