So, what is this place? This is really just a journally scrapbook of all my things. I’ve been Very Online for 20+ years and I have made and lost so many social media accounts, I thought something like this (which I can easily backup and move) was a good place to start gathering it all together so I don’t lose more of it.
This week I really hyper-fixated on getting a LOT of things added to The Catch-all Drawer! I’m doing weekly digests because I want to feel free to just add and add stuff all week long without bugging anyone with emails.
Everyday is Halloween: In a category that will undoubtedly grow, I added 5 posts. A Halloween costume, Dark Shadows screencaps, fun stuff from Unlovely Frankenstein, and a collection of romantic gothic happy snaps.
Gothic in The Bath: I managed to get everything from my 139 instagram posts condensed into 28 posts. These are mostly “livetweeting” style reviews of gothics I read, mostly in a bubble bath and lots of cool gothic covers and pics of my collection.
Happiness is Homemade – Home projects, crafting, and cooking. I shared a happy snaps post with this blanket I made for my mama.
Pwhisker Hollow Gamer: Mostly pics from various video games. I shared 3 posts! My scrapbook pics of an EarthBound replay and a couple of seasons on Pwhisker, my oldest Animal Crossing isle.
The Happy Snaps: Preserving my photo diaries from Instagram. I got a couple of weeks from 2021 and 2022 added.
Writing the Ridiculous: A place to write about writing. Maybe sometimes I will even write. Like write-write. Right? I shared a little bit about one of the last times I really thought about writing (on a camping trip in 2023 ðŸ˜)
I have a couple more categories already planned. Family history stuff, and maybe revisiting my Ten Years ago project as 😱 a Twenty Years ago project!
I think this was probably a heavy week and I will chill a bit with adding stuff here, but I’m still pretty excited about the idea of getting it all together and off of other social media sites, so we shall see.
